The RME ADI-2 Pro FS R offers world-class conversion, thanks to its ultra-stable SteadyClock FS clock, AK4493 chip, and upgraded specs from its predecessor. The RME ADI-2 Pro FS R can tackle sample rates up to 768kHz, convert between multiple digital formats, and record and playback DSD audio. The ADI-2 Pro FS R's SteadyClock FS takes self-jitter even lower, improving its analogue PLL circuit and referencing both Direct Digital Synthesis and PLL to a low-phase-noise quartz crystal. Thanks to this updated circuit, the ADI-2 Pro FS R reaches jitter specs as low as a femtosecond. You can also use the ADI-2 Pro FS R as a top-tier dual headphone amplifier. Beyond that, you can use the ADI-2 Pro FS R's USB port to create a high-end AD/DA frontend for your Mac, PC, or iOS device.

The RME ADI-2 Pro FS R features a 10-layer design with custom copper thickness, guaranteeing the finest undisturbed sound. Its internal power supply is a low-noise design that delivers separate power to its headphone outputs. In use, the ADI-2 Pro FS R exhibits an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio, minimal harmonic distortion, and a high slew rate via selected SoundPlus op-amps. The entire analogue signal path is fully symmetrical, balanced, and DC-coupled. The only capacitors in the ADI-2 Pro FS R's signal path perform DC protection at its analogue input sockets and have been carefully selected to avoid any sonic impact. The 4-channel AD-converter, supporting 786 kHz sample rate and DSD recording, is used in a dual-mono design, with a 3 dB improved signal to noise ratio. Two premium DACs are used for two separate stereo outputs.

Thanks to RME's Extreme Power design, you'll experience 0.1-ohm output impedance, a 22dBu maximum output level, and 1.5 watts of output power per channel.
